When a framed print of Eliza from Uncle Tom’s Cabin goes missing from Wayfarers Inn, LuAnn, Tess, and Janice are puzzled—but when a first edition copy of the book is stolen from the Underground Railroad Museum the next day, they are alarmed. With two historic art dealers, a rare book collector, and a Harriet Beecher Stowe Museum employee (who is helping plan an event at the museum for the 170th anniversary of the book) all staying in town, the three owners know they have a thief in their midst. But who could have committed both thefts?
