{"id":14084,"date":"2026-03-10T09:00:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-10T09:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gpbookstore.org\/articles\/angels-on-earth-day\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T09:32:05","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T09:32:05","slug":"angels-on-earth-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gpbookstore.org\/articles\/angels-and-miracles\/angels\/angels-on-earth-day\/","title":{"rendered":"(Angels on) Earth Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re celebrating <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guideposts.com\/earthday\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Earth Day<\/a> in my house by using as many recyclables as possible to produce less trash, at least in these 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>No plastic sandwich bags in those school lunches today, cloth instead of paper napkins (classy, right?), and we all agreed to drink tap instead of bottled water.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll have leftovers for dinner so nothing in the fridge goes to waste. And tonight my friend and neighbor Stephen Looser will <em>not<\/em> call to warn, \u201cColleen, I just drove past your house and every light is on!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It feels good to participate in this global effort that encourages people to be <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guideposts.com\/angels\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">angels<\/a> for our planet.
