Greeting cards are what I call \u201cuniversally personal.\u201d They fit everyone in the universe, but when given from one person to another, they become a personal message. <\/p>\n
I felt impressed to post a message on my Facebook timeline recently, \u201cI don’t know who this is meant for this morning, but I just felt like I was supposed to post it. God is going to be \u2018enough\u2019 for whatever you’re facing today. He will be on time, and His resources are limitless. You can trust the God with a perfect track record. After all, He loved YOU so much that He gave His life for you!\u201d<\/p>\n
Comments began popping up with friends saying, \u201cThis was for me.\u201d Or \u201cI needed this.\u201d Or \u201cI can use that today.\u201d I know many of the circumstances behind their replies. Some of these folks just lost a loved one. Others were facing scary medical times or had a spouse in the hospital. Some had lost jobs. It brought tears to my eyes as I was reminded once again how God\u2019s Word is universally personal\u2014and how it\u2019s always on time when we need it. <\/p>\n
The words tucked inside the covers of our Bibles are meant for all of us, but oh how precious it is when God shines a spotlight on some of them and whispers, \u201cThis was for you today.\u201d <\/p>\n
A greeting card from the One who loves us, just when we need it.<\/p>\n
So since He says it best, I thought I\u2019d share some of those universally personal messages from Him with you today:<\/p>\n
In Psalm 56:3, it says, \u201cWhat time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.\u201d<\/p>\n
Isaiah 41:10 shares, \u201cFear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Matthew 6:31-32 says, \u201cTherefore do not be anxious, saying, \u2018What shall we eat?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we drink?\u2019 or \u2018What shall we wear?\u2019 For \u2026 your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.\u201d <\/p>\n
Jeremiah 29:11 shares, \u201cFor I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.\u201d<\/p>\n
Friends, I don\u2019t know what you\u2019re facing today, but I can promise you that He will be \u201cenough\u201d and that He has a personal message hidden in His Word that\u2019s just for you. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
