My parents. They met in the first grade in Turkey, ended up separated by thousands of miles and reunited after a chance encounter. My dad says <a href=\"https:\/\/gpbookstore.org\/articles\/positive-living\/friends-and-family\/family\/love-at-first-grade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he knew my mom was \u201cthe one\u201d<\/a> even back in the first grade.<\/p>\n<p>I always assumed I\u2019d meet my future husband in similar fairy-tale fashion. Unfortunately, that hasn\u2019t happened\u2026at least not yet. And so I continue to wonder about love.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s one reason I was so thrilled to find out my colleague <a href=\"https:\/\/gpbookstore.org\/articles\/inspiring-stories\/stories-of-faith-and-hope\/ask-a-true-love-expert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dan Hoffman will be interviewing Dr. Paulette Sherman<\/a>, a clinical psychologist and true love expert, for a special video Q&amp;A on Guideposts.org. <\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sherman will be answering questions from readers when she stops by the office. And, since I\u2019m an avid <em>Mysterious Ways<\/em> reader, I guess that includes me!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gpbookstore.org\/articles\/inspiring-stories\/stories-of-faith-and-hope\/ask-a-true-love-expert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>READ MORE: ASK AN EXPERT ABOUT TRUE LOVE<\/strong><\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here are some head-scratchers I\u2019d love to get some answers to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Do soul mates really exist?\n\t <\/li>\n<li>Can you have more than one soul mate? If so, what happens in Heaven? (That\u2019s just one of the many questions I had after seeing the movie <em>Titanic<\/em> for the first time in the 9th grade!)\n\t <\/li>\n<li>Will your soul mate always find you, no matter what?\n\t <\/li>\n<li>Can we do anything on our part to increase our chances of finding a soul mate? Or is that strictly \u201cGod territory\u201d?\n\t <\/li>\n<li>How do you know if you\u2019ve met your soul mate?\n\t <\/li>\n<li>Why do some people get soul mates and others don\u2019t?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What about you?
