I\u2019m in the middle of planning a vacation to Portugal<\/a> with my sister. I can hardly wait to explore the cities of Lisbon and Porto\u2026and, of course, eat past\u00e9is de nata, aka traditional Portuguese egg tarts! <\/p>\n

But while my mind is consumed with all things Portugal, part of me is thinking about a different country entirely. Denmark.<\/p>\n

You see, I\u2019ve had two dreams over the past month involving Denmark<\/a>. I have no idea why. I\u2019ve never been there. I don\u2019t know anyone from there. I\u2019ve never even really thought about traveling there (sorry, Denmark, I\u2019m sure you\u2019re beautiful!). Even more strange, I rarely remember dreams that I\u2019ve had once, let alone twice! <\/p>\n

I consulted with Mysterious Ways<\/em> editor Desiree Cole. She\u2019s a bit of a spiritual dream<\/a> expert. She knows the dreams of the Bible like the back of her hand. Seriously, some days, I feel like I\u2019m sitting next to Joseph from the Old Testament. (That reminds me, you can look forward to Desiree\u2019s story about the warnings God sends us in dreams in the upcoming issue of Mysterious Ways<\/em> magazine!) <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve dreamt about Denmark twice,\u201d I told Desiree. \u201cIn both dreams, I was invited to fly to Denmark at the last-minute, but couldn\u2019t go because I had other plans.\u201d Desiree paused and looked thoughtful.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet me think on it,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Sure enough, a few hours later, I got Desiree\u2019s official \u201cdream analysis.\u201d She offered a few different suggestions about what it could mean. Denmark could represent a place of rest and peace, she said, like a \u201cden.\u201d It could actually just represent Denmark\u2013maybe I was going to take a trip there one day. Or, perhaps, I\u2019m simply being called on by God to pray for Denmark. <\/p>\n

Desiree suggested I ask God to give me another clue to the puzzle before I go to sleep at night. I think I\u2019ll do just that and pray for Denmark too. <\/p>\n
